Wayne Lydon founded CareAxis after more than 12 years in the medical industry, advancing from sales representative to leadership and management roles across wound care, biologics, regenerative medicine, and surgical technologies. His career has included building new territories, developing hospital and physician relationships, supporting clinical education, expanding distribution channels, and earning national recognition, including multiple President's Awards for sales excellence.
Before entering healthcare, Wayne spent 13 years in professional baseball, including time in the New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays organizations. That experience shaped a mindset centered on preparation, discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and execution under pressure.
Service is also deeply rooted in his family. Wayne's father served 22 years in the U.S. Navy, and two of his sisters also served in the Navy. That background helped instill a strong sense of patriotism, responsibility, service, and commitment to mission.
Faith is also a foundational part of Wayne's approach to leadership and business, reinforcing the principles of integrity, honesty, stewardship, service to others, and honoring commitments.
